Made to be warn; around your wrist so it makes an easy target; and they dont support my audio formats; PC jukebox > apples products; serioulsy who is going to go back to MP3? when they have ogg or FLAC? and what your going to convert your whole collection? my jukebox is fine where it is; digital dolby surround striaght to the Home audio tuner.
but this isnt that comparable; where would i use an ipod? waiting to get into my car?
where does this have a real use... Teenagers: at school; outside; walking to college capus if you goto like U of M; Adults: exercise/Runners? Not listening to your wife?
Im not going to list; Work; seince we all do differnt things.
I would say these are markted twards kids/college students...

I would like to purchase a Portable Media Player because these new Cd-players just do not cut it: they are so flimsy and easily breakable from a table height of two and a half to three feet onto carpet! I guess you can tell how I broke my previous one :-/
Anyway, this iPod Nano looks thin enough and wide enough to easily be snapped in half during ordinary daily routines like exercise. It looks thin enough that I could break it in half with my hand if I wanted to.
I'm abstaining from buying any PMDs until they come out with one that can hold tons of music, will not break the bank, and will not be broken if I sneeze around it.

Except the fact that MP3 users > IPOD.

iPod is gehy, iTunes is a resource hog and a pain in the arse, the formats required for iPods are gehy, and just the thought of using something from Apple is gehy.
I have my PSP, I have my 1 gig chips, and I have my music. That's all I need.

And the word gehy is so premier.
What's wrong with Apple besides their PCs? Ipods are fine if you can afford the songs, the ipods are quite good looking.

iTunes? Those are 99 cents each, right? Most normal albums these days have 15+ songs and cost 10-13 dollars, so they seem cheaper than an iTunes bought album.

I was talking about inferior audio codecs that waste space; my target was the .MP3 format.

I had recently download an album with 100 songs, 2CDs would i pay 99$ at thier store or goto sam goody and purchase it for 9 to 23$ (denpends 1CD or 2; even my extreme case of 6CDs in one package)
Ill give an example why this would be bad for a certain band; MSI they have 32 songs on one 1 CD; CKY also has alot of songs per CD... and this iTunes store doesnt supply that much, it only supplys main stream MTV garbage.
You can goto russain servers and buy them for 10cents a song, if you want mp3 or ogg formats. I wont mention who does or doesnt buy there music and how they do it. this topic is about this iPod nano and what it would do for us.

Yes.. the 3mb compression that souds as good as the 70mb version is HORRIBLE! HORRIBLY INFERIOR i say!
Yes... i could compress it to.. say a little less then 3 megs for a 192k. But who really cares honestly. I would rather have 3mb a song and be able to play it on just about anything then something that would compress it a little more that i can only play on a few things.. Get over it, really.
